Bomba d'acqua su Firenze

Una violenta bomba di grandine si è abbattuta su tutta la provincia di Firenze. Un fiume bianco ha invaso le strade del capoluogo toscano e il maltempo ha portato alla chiusura di vari musei tra cui gli Uffizi. Cinque persone, tutte adulte, sono rimaste ferite per un crollo all'interno della scuola elementare di Lazzeretto, frazione di Cerreto. 
Sono rimasti feriti anche alcuni genitori che si recavano a scuola per riprendere i figli. Si registrano feriti anche per incidenti stradali e caduta alberi. Feriti ci sono stati anche ad Empoli e dintorni per incidenti sulla strada. In direzione Lazzeretto e Stabbia per chi proviene da Empoli e Cerreto Guidi il traffico è stato bloccato per rimuovere i numerosi alberi caduti presenti sulla sede stradale. Presto inizieranno le valutazioni dei danni subiti dai vigneti e dagli edifici scolastici comunali, che rimarranno chiusi fino al ripristino della situazione di normalità. La bomba di acqua e grossi chicchi di grandine si è abbattuta su Firenze a partire dalle ore 12,40 ed è durata una ventina di minuti. Il cielo si è oscurato rapidamente e in pochi secondi il temporale si è trasformato in una gigantesca grandinata che ha imbiancato tutto il centro di Firenze.
